The School

The art of fragrance.

Six short lessons from the Maison — everything you need to begin composing your own.

Lesson 01

The Fragrance Pyramid

Every fragrance unfolds in three movements. The opening arrives first — bright, volatile, fleeting. Heart notes emerge once the opening settles, defining the fragrance's character. Foundation notes — woods, resins, musks — linger for hours, leaving the trail you'll be remembered by.

Lesson 02

How Structure Works

A great composition balances brightness, depth and warmth. Citrus and pepper open the door; florals or spices hold the room; ambers, oud and musks close it gently behind you. The art lies in choosing notes that hand off to each other — not compete.

Lesson 03

Choosing Ingredients

Premium fragrance is built on raw materials — Bulgarian rose, Italian bergamot, Mysore sandalwood, Cambodian oud. We source from the same houses that supply the world's leading perfumers, because the bottle is only as luxurious as what's inside it.

Lesson 04

Longevity & Sillage

Longevity is how long a fragrance lasts on your skin. Sillage is the trail it leaves in a room. Both are shaped by concentration, the molecular weight of the notes, and how your skin chemistry responds. Heavier foundation notes — oud, ambers, resins — extend both.

Lesson 05

Concentration Explained

Eau fraîche, eau de toilette, extrait de parfum, parfum — the scale runs from light and airy to dense and richly saturated. Higher concentration means more aromatic compounds per drop, which means longer wear and a closer skin presence.

Lesson 06

Caring For Your Fragrance

Store away from heat and direct light. Apply to pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears — where warmth lifts the notes. A well-made fragrance evolves on your skin over the day; trust it to reveal itself.
